What is Kooli Pani?
A local labour marketplace app for India. Workers find daily-wage jobs near them; contractors hire trusted people — with chat, job tracking and ratings built in. "Kooli pani" simply means wage work, and that's exactly what it's for.
Who is it for?
Two kinds of people. Workers — painters, masons, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, tile workers, helpers and more. And contractors — from individuals hiring for a single job to businesses hiring crews.
Is it free?
Yes. Downloading the app, creating a profile, posting jobs and applying to them are all free.
How do I sign up?
With your phone number. We text you a 6-digit code — no passwords, no email. Choose whether you work or hire, complete a short guided profile, and you're in.
Is it available on mobile?
Yes — Kooli Pani is built mobile-first for Android, in English, Hindi and Malayalam. The Google Play listing is on its way; a direct APK is available meanwhile.
How does verification work?
Every account starts with phone OTP verification. Profiles grow stronger with a selfie and ID verification, a completion meter, and ratings earned from completed work — so trust is visible before anyone is hired.
